How to get to UAB?

From the airport, you have to get to Barcelona first, and from there take a train to the University (UAB).

The Aerobus (5.90 €) leaves every ten minutes from both terminals and has its last stop at Plaça Catalunya. Renfe Cercanías de Renfe leaves from Terminal 2 and has a stop at Sants Estació.
Once in Barcelona, take the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC). Both the S2 and S6 lines take you to the ‘Universitat Autònoma’ stop. The journey takes about 35 minutes and trains leave approximately every 10 minutes.

The FGC stations in Barcelona are Plaça Catalunya, Provença, Gràcia, Muntaner and Sarrià. From the airport, the Aerobus will drop you off at Plaça Catalunya; if you arrive in the city via Sants Estació train station, you can take metro line 5 to Provença and connect with the FGC.

Please check timetables, stations and maps on the FGC website.

Once at the ‘Universitat Autónoma’ stop, leave the platform on the far left. After crossing a bridge, a winding uphill path will take you to the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting.

Renfe line R7 has a stop at ‘Cerdanyola Universitat’. This is a good option if you are close to Sant Andreu Arenal train station and Fabra i Puig metro station. Trains leave every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once at the station, you will need to take a free bus that connects the station with the different buildings and areas of the campus. The L1 bus will drop you off near the Faculty of Translation. Ask the driver for directions to your stop.

By car, the journey from Barcelona takes about 25 minutes. By taxi, the cost is about €45-50.

For more information and directions, you can consult the ‘Mobility and Transport’ section of the UAB or the UAB campus service on google.
